a Jos 01 06 Be strong and of {a} good courage: for unto this
people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I
sware unto their fathers to give them.

stones shall be for {a} memorial unto the children of Israel for

out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at {a} time
appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that [there were]
liers in ambush against him behind the city.

went not out after Israel: and they left the city open, and
pursued after Israel.
