might Children in whom [was] no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as [had] ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they {might} teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans. might And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they {might} stand before the king. might But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he {might} not defile himself. might Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and {might} are his: might I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and {might}, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast [now] made known unto us the king's matter. might Then] Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed [be] the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they {might} not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. might Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise [men] of Babylon before me, that they {might} make known unto me the interpretation of the dream. might The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the {might} of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? might Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which [was] in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, {might} drink therein. might And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel [was] first: that the princes {might} give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage. might And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose {might} not be changed concerning Daniel. might I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts {might} stand before him, neither [was there any] that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great. might Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they {might} not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that [is] written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. might As [it is] written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we {might} turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. might Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and {might}, [be] unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. might And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she {might} fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. might And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he {might} cause her to be carried away of the flood. might And that no man {might} buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. might And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east {might} be prepared. ~~~~~~
