one But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, [there is but] {one} decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can show me the interpretation thereof. one And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave {one} to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. one Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: [therefore] he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace {one} seven times more than it was wont to be heated. one I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy {one} came down from heaven; one Then Daniel, whose name [was] Belteshazzar, was astonied for {one} hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream [be] to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies. one And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy {one} coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and [let] his portion [be] with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him; one Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote {one} against another. one And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse {one} from another. one And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on {one} side, and [it had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. one I saw in the night visions, and, behold, [{one}] like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. one I came near unto {one} of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. one Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had [two] horns: and the [two] horns [were] high; but {one} [was] higher than the other, and the higher came up last. one And out of {one} of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant [land]. one Then I heard {one} saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain [saint] which spake, How long [shall be] the vision [concerning] the daily [sacrifice], and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? one And he shall confirm the covenant with many for {one} week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. one But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, {one} of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. one But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me {one} and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. one And, behold, [{one}] like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. one Then there came again and touched me [{one}] like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, one And the king of the south shall be strong, and [{one}] of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion [shall be] a great dominion. one But out of a branch of her roots shall [{one}] stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: one But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and [{one}] shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, [even] to his fortress. one And both these kings' hearts [shall be] to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at {one} table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end [shall be] at the time appointed. one And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every {one} that shall be found written in the book. one Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the {one} on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. one And [{one}] said to the man clothed in linen, which [was] upon the waters of the river, How long [shall it be to] the end of these wonders? one And in the midst of the seven candlesticks [{one}] like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. one And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every {one} of you according to your works. one And immediately I was in the spirit; and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and [{one}] sat on the throne. one And {one} of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. one And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four [and] twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every {one} of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. one And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, {one} of the four beasts saying, Come and see. one And I saw when the Lamb opened {one} of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. one And there went out another horse [that was] red: and [power] was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill {one} another: and there was given unto him a great sword. one And white robes were given unto every {one} of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they [were], should be fulfilled. one And {one} of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? one {One} woe is past; [and], behold, there come two woes more hereafter. one And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts {one} to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. one And I saw {one} of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. one And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud [{one}] sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. one And {one} of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. one And there came {one} of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: one And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and {one} is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. one And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings {one} hour with the beast. one These have {one} mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. one Therefore shall her plagues come in {one} day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong [is] the Lord God who judgeth her. one Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in {one} hour is thy judgment come. one For in {one} hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, one And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in {one} hour is she made desolate. one And there came unto me {one} of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. one And the twelve gates [were] twelve pearls: every several gate was of {one} pearl: and the street of the city [was] pure gold, as it were transparent glass. ~~~~~~
