The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, {or} the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream [be] to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies. or And all the inhabitants of the earth [are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and [among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, {or} say unto him, What doest thou? or Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he [was] faithful, neither was there any error {or} fault found in him. or All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God {or} man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions. or Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask [a petition] of any God {or} man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing [is] true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. or And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast [them] into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces {or} ever they came at the bottom of the den. or At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, {or} as the latter. or Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; {or} else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. or Repent; {or} else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. or I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold {or} hot. or And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, {or} in their foreheads: or And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, {or} the number of his name. or And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, {or} the name of the beast, or the number of his name. or And that no man might buy {or} sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. or And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, {or} in his hand, or And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, {or} in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. or And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, {or} [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. ~~~~~~
