this So he consented to them in {this} matter, and proved them ten days. this For {this} cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise [men] of Babylon. this That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning {this} secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise [men] of Babylon. this But as for me, {this} secret is not revealed to me for [any] wisdom that I have more than any living, but for [their] sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart. this Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. {This} great image, whose brightness [was] excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof [was] terrible. this {This} image's head [was] of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, this {This} [is] the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. this And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou [art] {this} head of gold. this The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth [it is], that your God [is] a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal {this} secret. this Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we [are] not careful to answer thee in {this} matter. this Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after {this} sort. this {This} matter [is] by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. this {This} dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise [men] of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou [art] able; for the spirit of the holy gods [is] in thee. this This [is] the interpretation, O king, and {this} [is] the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king: this {This} [is] the interpretation, O king, and this [is] the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king: this All {this} came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. this The king spake, and said, Is not {this} great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? this The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. [And] the king spake, and said to the wise [men] of Babylon, Whosoever shall read {this} writing, and show me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and [have] a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom. this And now the wise [men], the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read {this} writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not show the interpretation of the thing: this And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all {this}; this Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and {this} writing was written. this And {this} [is] the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. this {This} [is] the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. this Then {this} Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit [was] in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. this Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against {this} Daniel, except we find [it] against him concerning the law of his God. this So {this} Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian. this After {this} I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. this After {this} I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns. this I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in {this} horn [were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. this I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all {this}. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. this And the ten horns out of {this} kingdom [are] ten kings [that] shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. this And I heard a man's voice between [the banks of] Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make {this} [man] to understand the vision. this O Lord, righteousness [belongeth] unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at {this} day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, [that are] near, and [that are] far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee. this As [it is] written in the law of Moses, all {this} evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. this And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at {this} day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly. this Therefore I was left alone, and saw {this} great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. this And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken {this} word unto me, I stood trembling. this For how can the servant of {this} my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. this For how can the servant of this my lord talk with {this} my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. this After {this} shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause [it] to turn upon him. this Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on {this} side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. this Blessed [is] he that readeth, and they that hear the words of {this} prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time [is] at hand. this But {this} thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. this But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not {this} doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. this After {this} I looked, and, behold, a door [was] opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard [was] as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter. this After {this} I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; this And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in {this} manner be killed. this And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of {this} world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. this And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What [city is] like unto {this} great city! this But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. {This} [is] the first resurrection. this And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. {This} is the second death. this Behold, I come quickly: blessed [is] he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of {this} book. this Then saith he unto me, See [thou do it] not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of {this} book: worship God. this And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of {this} book: for the time is at hand. this For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in {this} book: this For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of {this} book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: this And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of {this} prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book. this And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in {this} book. ~~~~~~
