it In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged {it}. it They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will show the interpretation of {it}. it And [it is] a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can show {it} before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh. it And [{it} is] a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can show it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh. it And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all [things]: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall {it} break in pieces and bruise. it And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potter's clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in {it} of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. it And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] {it} shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. it And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and {it} shall stand for ever. it Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that {it} brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream [is] certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. it The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth [{it} is], that your God [is] a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. it Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height [was] threescore cubits, [and] the breadth thereof six cubits: he set {it} up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. it Then an herald cried aloud, To you {it} is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, it Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, [Is {it}] true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? it If {it} be [so], our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver [us] out of thine hand, O king. it But if not, be {it} known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. it Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: [therefore] he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than {it} was wont to be heated. it I thought {it} good to show the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. it The leaves thereof [were] fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it [was] meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under {it}, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it. it The leaves thereof [were] fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it [was] meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of {it}. it The leaves thereof [were] fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in {it} [was] meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it. it He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under {it}, and the fowls from his branches: it Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let {it} be wet with the dew of heaven, and [let] his portion [be] with the beasts in the grass of the earth: it This matter [is] by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth {it} to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. it This matter [is] by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over {it} the basest of men. it Whose leaves [were] fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in {it} [was] meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation: it {It} [is] thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth. it And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let {it} be wet with the dew of heaven, and [let] his portion [be] with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him; it And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy {it}; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and [let] his portion [be] with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him; it That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth {it} to whomsoever he will. it Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; if {it} may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity. it While the word [was] in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, [saying], O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee {it} is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. it And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling [shall be] with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth {it} to whomsoever he will. it And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling [was] with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and [that] he appointeth over {it} whomsoever he will. it This [is] the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished {it}. it {It} pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; it Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find [{it}] against him concerning the law of his God. it Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that {it} be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. it And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed {it} with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. it The first [was] like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and {it} was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. it The first [was] like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to {it}. it And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and [it had] three ribs in the mouth of {it} between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. it And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and [it had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of {it}: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. it And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and [it had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto {it}, Arise, devour much flesh. it And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and [{it} had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. it And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and {it} raised up itself on one side, and [it had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. it After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of {it} four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. it After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to {it}. it After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before {it}; and it had ten horns. it After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and {it} had ten horns. it After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and {it} had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns. it After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: {it} devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns. it After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and {it} [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns. it After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of {it}: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns. it Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break {it} in pieces. it Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread {it} down, and break it in pieces. it But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy [{it}] unto the end. it And I saw in a vision; and {it} came to pass, when I saw, that I [was] at Shushan [in] the palace, which [is] in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai. it Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for {it} came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven. it And it waxed great, [even] to the host of heaven; and {it} cast down [some] of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. it And {it} waxed great, [even] to the host of heaven; and it cast down [some] of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. it And an host was given [him] against the daily [sacrifice] by reason of transgression, and {it} cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered. it And an host was given [him] against the daily [sacrifice] by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and {it} practiced, and prospered. it And {it} came to pass, when I, [even] I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. it Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for {it}, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power. it And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told [is] true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for {it} [shall be] for many days. it And I Daniel fainted, and was sick [certain] days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood [{it}]. it As [{it} is] written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. it Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought {it} upon us: for the LORD our God [is] righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice. it And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [{it}] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. it And] when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down [many] ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened [by {it}]. it After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause [{it}] to turn upon him. it And both these kings' hearts [shall be] to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but {it} shall not prosper: for yet the end [shall be] at the time appointed. it At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but {it} shall not be as the former, or as the latter. it And [some] of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make [them] white, [even] to the time of the end: because [{it} is] yet for a time appointed. it And [one] said to the man clothed in linen, which [was] upon the waters of the river, How long [shall {it} be to] the end of these wonders? it And I heard the man clothed in linen, which [was] upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that [{it} shall be] for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these [things] shall be finished. it The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [{it}] by his angel unto his servant John: it Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send [{it}] unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. it He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [{it}]. it I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut {it}: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. it After this I looked, and, behold, a door [was] opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard [was] as {it} were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter. it And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as {it} had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. it And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as {it} were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. it And white robes were given unto every one of them; and {it} was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they [were], should be fulfilled. it And the heaven departed as a scroll when {it} is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. it And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom {it} was given to hurt the earth and the sea, it And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer [{it}] with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. it And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast [{it}] into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. it And the angel took the censer, and filled {it} with fire of the altar, and cast [it] into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. it And the second angel sounded, and as {it} were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; it And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and {it} fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; it And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as {it} were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; it And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of {it}, and the night likewise. it And {it} was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. it And to them {it} was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment [was] as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. it And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find {it}; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. it And the shapes of the locusts [were] like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads [were] as {it} were crowns like gold, and their faces [were] as the faces of men. it And they had breastplates, as {it} were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings [was] as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. it And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow [was] upon his head, and his face [was] as {it} were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: it And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take [it], and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but {it} shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. it And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take [it], and eat it up; and {it} shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. it And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take [it], and eat {it} up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. it And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take [{it}], and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. it And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and {it} was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. it And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate {it} up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. it And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten {it}, my belly was bitter. it But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure {it} not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months. it But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for {it} is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months. it These have power to shut heaven, that {it} rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. it And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as {it} was born. it And I saw one of his heads as {it} were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. it And {it} was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. it Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for {it} is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six. it And they sung as {it} were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. it And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast [{it}] into the great winepress of the wrath of God. it And I saw as {it} were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, [and] over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. it And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and {it} became as the blood of a dead [man]; and every living soul died in the sea. it And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, {It} is done. it And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast [{it}] into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. it And I heard as {it} were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. it And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See [thou do {it}] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. it And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with {it} he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. it And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on {it}, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. it And the sea gave up the dead which were in {it}; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. it And he said unto me, {It} is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. it And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of {it} are equal. it And the building of the wall of {it} was [of] jasper: and the city [was] pure gold, like unto clear glass. it And the twelve gates [were] twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city [was] pure gold, as {it} were transparent glass. it And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of {it}. it And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten {it}, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof. it And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in {it}: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof. it And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of {it}: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. it And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into {it}. it And the gates of {it} shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. it And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into {it}. it And there shall in no wise enter into {it} any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. it In the midst of the street of {it}, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations. it And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in {it}; and his servants shall serve him: it Then saith he unto me, See [thou do {it}] not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. ~~~~~~
