kept And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he {kept} alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down. kept Hitherto [is] the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I {kept} the matter in my heart. kept I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast {kept} my word, and hast not denied my name. kept Because thou hast {kept} the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. ~~~~~~
