ginomai [as] sounding 2278 -echeo brass 5475 -chalkos , or 2228 -
e a tinkling 0214 -alalazo cymbal 2950 -kumbalon .



      :2 And though 1437 -ean I have 2192 -echo [the gift of] 
prophecy 4394 -propheteia , and understand 1492 -eido all 3956 -
pas mysteries 3466 -musterion , and all 3956 -pas knowledge 1108 
-gnosis ; and though 1437 -ean I have 2192 -echo all 3956 -pas 
faith 4102 -pistis , so 5620 -hoste that I could remove 3179 -
methistemi mountains 3735 -oros , and have 2192 -echo not 
charity 0026 -agape , I am 1510 -eimi nothing 3762 -oudeis .



      :3 And though 1437 -ean I bestow 5595 -psomizo all 3956 -
pas my goods 5224 -huparchonta to feed 5595 -psomizo [the poor], 
and though 1437 -ean I give 3860 -paradidomi my body 4983 -soma 
to be burned 2545 -kaio , and have 2192 -echo not charity 0026 -
agape , it profiteth 5623 -opheleo me nothing 3762 -oudeis .



      :4 Charity 0026 -agape suffereth 3114 -makrothumeo long 
3114 -makrothumeo , [and] is kind 5541 -chresteuomai ; charity 
0026 -agape envieth 2206 -zeloo not; charity 0026 -agape 
vaunteth 4068 -perpereuomai not itself, is not puffed 5448 -
phusioo up,



      :5 Doth not behave 0807 -aschemoneo itself unseemly, 
seeketh 2212 -zeteo not her own 1438 -heautou , is not easily 
provoked 3947 -paroxuno , thinketh 3049 -logizomai no 3756 -ou 
evil 2556 -kakos ;



      :6 Rejoiceth 5463 -chairo not in iniquity 0093 -adikia , 
but rejoiceth 4796 -sugchairo in the truth 0225 -aletheia ;



      :7 Beareth 4722 -stego all 3956 -pas things, believeth

      :8 Charity 0026 -agape never 3763 -oudepote faileth 1601 -
ekpipto : but whether 1535 -eite [there be] prophecies 4394 -
propheteia , they shall fail 2673 -katargeo ; whether 1535 -eite 
[there be] tongues 1100 -glossa , they shall cease 3973 -pauo ; 
whether 1535 -eite [there be] knowledge 1108 -gnosis , it shall 
vanish 2673 -katargeo away 2673 -katargeo .



      :9 For we know 1097 -ginosko in part 3313 -meros , and we 
prophesy 4395 -propheteuo in part 3313 -meros .



      :10 But when 3752 -hotan that which is perfect 5046 -
teleios is come 2064 -erchomai , then 5119 -tote that which is 
in part 3313 -meros shall be done 2673 -katargeo away 2673 -
katargeo .



      :11 When 3753 -hote I was a child 3516 -nepios , I spake 
2980 -laleo as a child 3516 -nepios , I understood 5426 -phroneo 
as a child 3516 -nepios , I thought 3049 -logizomai as a child 
3516 -nepios : but when 3753 -hote I became 1096 -ginomai a man 
0435 -aner , I put 2673 -katargeo away 2673 -katargeo childish 
3516 -nepios things.



      :12 For now 0737 -arti we see 0991 -blepo through 1223 -
dia a glass 2072 -esoptron , darkly 0135 -ainigma ; but then 
5119 -tote face 4383 -prosopon to face 4383 -prosopon : now 0737 
-arti I know 1097 -ginosko in part 3313 -meros ; but then 5119 -
tote shall I know 1921 -epiginosko even 2531 -kathos as also 
2532 -kai I am known 1921 -epiginosko .



      :13 And now 3570 -nuni abideth 3306 -meno faith 4102 -
pistis , hope 1680 -elpis , charity 0026 -agape , these 5023 -
tauta three 5140 -treis ; but the greatest 3187 -meizon of these 
5130 -touton [is] charity 0026 -agape .
